Koenigsegg Agera R – Chassis #105. Car: 18/18.

The Koenigsegg Agera R is a mid-engined Hypercar that made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and is the result of Koenigsegg’s endless pursuit for perfection.

Designed as a race car for the road, The Agera has a body made from pre-impregnated carbon fibre/kevlar with lightweight reinforcements, the chassis is also made from carbon fibre with an aluminium honeycomb structure that comes with integrated fuel tanks for optimal weight distribution and safety. The Agera R's low-slung design is accentuated by almond-shaped headlights with integrated LED daytime running lamps, a wraparound windscreen with a single central wiper, small side windows and large air vents in front of the rear wheels. Out back, the Agera R has oval LED tail lamps, a mid-mounted exhaust and a functional air diffuser, while scissor doors that open at a 90-degree angle finish off the look. Also featuring a detachable and storable hardtop with glass roof, bringing the best of two worlds. This in combination with 120 litres of luggage space, truly combine extreme performance with everyday usability.

Chassis #105 is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 Koenigsegg engine producing 1,200 BHP and 1,200 NM of torque sprinting from zero to 62 mph in under 2.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of over 273 mph. In 2011 The Agera R broke the world record for 0-300-0 kp/h with a time of 21.19 seconds, making it the fastest accelerating and decelerating car of all time. Only to be beaten by the Koenigsegg One:1 four years later.

The Agera R offers a track-inspired interior with room for two passengers on leather-upholstered bucket seats with adjustable pedals for the driver. The centre console, the multi-function steering wheel and parts of the dashboard are crafted out of carbon fibre to reduce weight.

The instrument cluster consists of several small digital gauges housed in three main pods. They can be configured by the driver to provide information including the car's speed, fuel pressure, oil, water temperature and even the amount of horsepower generated by the engine at any given time.

A high-definition touch screen mounted on the centre stack groups the Agera's navigation, climate control, entertainment and connectivity functions into a single unit. Koenigsegg designs and builds all switches and stalks in-house.

The Agera R features dual airbags, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability control designed in-house and a Formula 1-inspired traction control system that provides five different handling modes for optimal performance.

Chassis #105 is the last ever Agera R to be produced, before the run of x25 Agera RS went into production during 2015 all of which have now been completed, making #105 a very special and important car. There was a total of only x18 Agera R examples produced making this model in-fact rarer than the Agera RS.

Further benefits from being the last Agera R produced include having improved power and drivability, Koenigsegg five-spoke Aircore carbon fibre wheels with centre locking and the latest iteration of the Koenigsegg Specially developed 7-speed dual clutch with paddle-shift featuring improved shift time. Koenigsegg’s own ventilated ceramic 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake system, Inconel exhaust system, and electronic differential, hydraulic lifting system, three-point inertia seat belts and extra four-point seatbelts for track use.

Chassis #105 is a genuine UK supplied and registered example from new through the official Koenigsegg UK Dealer, first registered 1/10/14, and has covered a total of 4,479miles. Supplied and serviced by the same Koenigsegg dealer throughout.

Finished in Black Bronze Metallic (gold metal flakes within the paint giving a unique shimmer in sunlight) with visible exterior carbon fibre at the centre of the bonnet, mirrors and air inlets/outlets, all model designation panels, and the dynamic rear-wing along with Carbon Black brake calipers all complimented by the finest natural Swedish leather interior specially ordered from Tärnsjö Garveri House of Leather.
